The November 2022 issue of Arts E-News features news of Division staff members Kristin Pleasanton and Sheila Dean Ross presenting best practices at the Creative Aging Institute from the Division’s collaborative work the the Division of Libraries; as well as the American Alliance of Museums DEAI Policy Announcement.

The Division shared two grantee highlights:

A Save The Date was issued for the 2023 Delaware State Employee Art Exhibition (registration begins December 12, 2022).

There is also information on registering for MLK Voice 4 Youth Competition and the Division’s Poetry Out Loud programming.

On the Mezzanine highlights Maia Palmer‘s exhibition Making the Invisible, Visible, which is on display November 4-25.

The Meet the Fellows section introduces Aaron Terry, Established, Visual Arts: Works on Paper; and Leanna Thongvong, Emerging, Folk Art: Visual Arts.

The Arts Spotlight section features Division grantees Chapel Street Players, Walnut Street YMCA, and Developing Artist Collaboration.

There is also information regarding funding opportunities and arts-related competitions from the NEA Big Read program and Mid Atlantic Arts.
