I will develop and expand my children’s book series, “Indigo Lila’s Whimsical World,” through a combination of writing, research, and community engagement activities. The project will take place primarily in my home studio and through virtual and in person events at local libraries, schools, and community centers. Over a 12 month period, I will create new books, interactive storytelling sessions, and educational materials that promote literacy, creativity, and cultural representation for children. This project will also include participation in literary workshops, author networking events, and professional development opportunities to refine my craft and reach wider audiences.
