Andy Truscott speaks with Gerri Weagraff, a Delaware based actress who is currently touring with Anastasia: The Musical – set to stop at The Playhouse on Rodney Square in Wilmington, Delaware.
Gerri has also been seen on the national tours of Fiddler on the Roof (Golde). Regionally, she’s performed at the Arizona Broadway Theatre, Surflight Theatre, Beef & Boards, Fireside, Candlelight Theatre. Some of her favorite roles include: Into the Woods (Cinderella’s Stepmother), Show Boat (Parthy Hawks), The Spitfire Grill (Hannah), Bright Star (Mama Murphy), Lend Me a Tenor (Julia). Gerri’s family has been embedded in the arts for decades, most notable was that her husband, Paul, was the Director of the Delaware Division of the Arts up until 2021.
