The first Delaware Arts Advocacy Day was held June 9, 2016 at Legislative Hall, Dover. This year’s event will be held on this Thursday, March 28 from 10-2pm. Join Delaware Arts Alliance at Legislative Hall and tell the story about how you and your organization changed lives for the better through art.

They’ll host a kickoff at 10 am, serving coffee and pastries, and they’ll provide pertinent literature for meetings with your legislators. It is imperative that arts advocates work together to help educate members of the General Assembly about the role the arts and arts education play in addressing the social, economic, and educational needs of Delaware’s communities.
