GOS
The Developing Artist Collaboration’s mission is to develop the careers of artists, as the organization’s name implies. The Developing Artist Collaboration provides its artist members with the resources to elevate and promote their passions and skills and embrace their craft as a career. The West Rehoboth Creative Market is the organization’s way of connecting its artists to the community. A unique arts experience, this event features live entertainment, unique DIY projects, delicious food, creative cocktails, fun games, and—of course—a wide array of wonderful artists.
The Developing Artist Collaboration believes art is so much more than paint on paper. The organization believes that artists of any ability or possible medium are capable of building sustainable meaningful careers. The Developing Artist Collaboration, just call them DAC (DEE-AYE-CEE), is an artist development organization that empowers the careers of individual artists by giving them the space and tools for creation, peer connection, and an understanding of the value of their purpose. The member artists are asked to give back through workforce development that grows the organization’s entrepreneurial model and giving back to the community by spreading culture like wildfire and empowering creativity through community development connections.
The West Rehoboth Creative Market has taken place on 22 Mondays (as of October 4th) serving roughly 500 community members and 23 artists and musicians at every event.
